Colorado Cottage Foods Information

Maryna's Sweets is a licensed home bakery operating under the Colorado Cottage Foods Act.

We are proud to prepare handcrafted baked goods in our home kitchen while following all applicable Colorado Cottage Foods regulations. Every product is made in small bathes using carefully selected ingredients and traditional European baking techniques.

What This Means

Our products are prepared in a home kitchen that is not subject to state licensure or routine inspection. However, we complete the required food safety training and follow Colorado Cottage Food regulations to help ensure quality and safe food handling practices.

All products are properly labeled in accordance with Colorado law.

Product Availability

Under the Colorado Cottage Foods Act, we are permitted to sell a variety of shelf-stable baked goods and confections, including:

• Artisan breads

• Sweet breads and pastries

• Cookies and tea biscuits

• Brownies and bars

• Meringues

• Marshmallow confections (Zefir)

• Dry baked treats and gift boxes

Some products that require refrigeration for food safety are not permitted under the Cottage Foods Act and are therefore not offered.

Allergens

Our kitchen handles common food allergens, including:

• Wheat

• Milk

• Eggs

• Tree nuts

• Peanuts

• Soy

Although we take great care during preparation, we cannot guarantee that any product is completely free from cross-contact with allergens.
